Thanarote Khaopare
My name is Thanarot Khaophrae, nickname "New," and I graduated from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. Since childhood, I have always had a strong interest in listening to and watching stories of all kinds whether they were fairy tales, cartoons, movies, or narratives shared by family members. These experiences sparked my curiosity and excitement for discovering new stories and ideas.
This early fascination naturally led me into the world of history a realm full of depth, complexity, and intrigue. I came to realize that history is not just about the past, but a mirror reflecting ways of life, ideas, and valuable lessons that still resonate with the present.
One of the most impactful projects my group and I chose to explore in our thesis is titled "Phi Mee Boon" (Blessed Demon), a striking historical narrative that has been largely overlooked in modern discourse. What makes this story particularly compelling is not only its haunting and thought-provoking nature but also the fact that it remains relatively unknown and seldom discussed in contemporary society.
