Pasu Lorphensri

Pasu Lorphensri is one of Thailand's most well-known independent animators, known for his distinctive artwork, humorous voiceovers, and creatively dark humor in his animations. Currently, he has 3.6 million subscribers on YouTube.

A reserved and introspective individual, Pasu's journey as an animator began during his middle school years when he began sketching cartoons to humorously depict his friends, despite lacking formal training in drawing. His enthusiasm for transforming narratives into animated tales grew during high school, prompting him to learn how to make animation on his own and share his creations on YouTube under the name 'Pasulol'. Within three years, his channel gained significant attention, with 100,000 subscribers. Although his family's desire for him to study finance at Mahidol University International College remained strong, Pasu's passion for animation persisted, compelling him to continue producing animations alongside his academic pursuits. Following his university graduation, he realized that a career in finance did not fit with his true passion for animation. So he decided to pursue a career as an animator.

For seven years, he worked alone on animations before enlisting the help of his friend Nack in 2020. All of Pasu's animations are characterized by dark comedy and twisted narratives that challenge and satire political, moral, religious beliefs, myths, fables, films, games, and more. Now, Pasu remains committed to honing his craft, with hopes of achieving even greater success in the world of animation.
