A touching and layered documentary about exile, supported by great visual inventiveness, weaving a metaphor embedded in the technique, that keeps unfolding in surprising ways throughout the film.
It portrays the gaze of a wife upon the inner collapse of her husband during their journey across the borders of Russia, offering a tender perspective on the male body experiencing confusion and trauma.
The film demonstrates the impact of politics on the intimate sphere - the oppression and silencing surrounding the outburst of the war of Russia against Ukraine not only urge the characters to abandon their home but also create an irreparable crack in their relationship.

The film presents an ample concept, beginning with a relatable anecdote and unfolding into an exploration of domination through the occupation of space.
It juggles archetypal, facetious characters with both humor and gravity, with an original dose of abstraction, mysterious architectures, jumping across different scales of existence.
The daring musical soundtrack feels loose and improvised yet supports the dramaturgy and the characters’ performances with precise synchrony.

From the far distance, we feel their tenderness.
Between the warmth and the cold, they harbor gently with their own bellies. They patiently struggle between one’s pace and the others’ speed.
In the dark, with the wind and the thinnest ray of light, there is a wish of good rest and nice journey.
This film is made for both children or adults who share their boundaries, care, and awkwardness in the dark.

The jury has decided to award a film that reveals how, beneath the city’s everyday bustle and lively rhythms, there can lie a hidden sense of the uncanny. The directors’ style is hauntingly atmospheric, with close-ups of expressive faces, animals, and objects set against the dim glow of twilight, deep shadows, and detailed sound design.
Its images of gore, paradoxically, also carry tenderness, heartbreak, and a nightmarish beauty. For these reasons, we are pleased to present a Special Mention to Quai Sisowath by Stéphanie Lansaque and François Leroy. Congratulations!

A film that impressed us with its interesting rhythm and composition. We were captivated by the clever use of light—how it was “stolen” and played with. We were also impressed by the cyanotype technique and the way time seemed to shift within the film.
Finally, we felt that all the spaces in the film were narrated poetically.

Captures the sensation of floating within the scenery, drawing the viewer fully into its world. The animation’s refined movement and rhythm demonstrate how nature communicates beyond words—touching the soul and carrying it gently along.
The interplay of animation and sound design left me feeling smaller and more humble before the profound beauty of the natural world.

This work left a profound impression on me through its use of both drawn lines and actual strands of hair. Hair, being an inseparable part of the body throughout one’s life, carried painful memories that felt bound like chains.
The expression of both physical and emotional pain was powerfully conveyed, making this a deeply moving and unforgettable experience.

« She and Her Good Vibrations » is a film that won us over with its daring honesty, wrapped in humor and lightness. What begins playfully in a cartoony style gradually reveals something deeply human: the story of a woman who finds pleasure, solitude, and ultimately joy in her own company.
It invites us to see loneliness not as a void, but as a space for freedom, fun, and self-discovery. Striking a perfect balance between directness and subtlety, the film embraces what it means to be human — imperfect yet joyfully oneself.

The jury was unanimous in our choice. This film was unexpected, fragile, and deeply moving — unapologetically itself and unforgettable. It was a film that vibrated with energy, a mix of daring technique and emotional resonance that left us fascinated. It doesn’t just impress; it lingers long after. We can't wait to see what the director creates next.

This soundtrack has a perfect balance of music and sound design, working in tandem to help the film rise to a higher level.
It doesn’t only capture the film’s tone, but manages to define and enhance it with its humour and beauty, balancing between whimsical and inventive. Every viewing new elements seem to arise as the carefully chosen sounds direct the viewer’s gaze in a subtle but decisive way.
The award for best sound goes to Sofie Birch, Alfred Bundgaard and Lukas Engelberckt Jørgensen for the film Butterfly
by Suncana Brkulj.
